Review summary

Dining room service was the slowest I have ever had with Carnival. On one night, 25 minutes (after seated) to get our water glasses filled and talk to a waiter; 20 more minutes before they returned with bread -- NOT FUN WAITING THAT LONG.

Met by cabin steward upon entering room and filled out a card on what we wanted during the cruise: Morning/evening service, fresh towels, etc. We choose to have our room cleaned with both services. Although our room was cleaned at least once each day, it was not cleaned as requested. Our cabin girl was a very nice person though...

Ship tip

Shopping guide pushy...too pushy to frank. Instead of allowing us to choose what jewelry the wife wanted, we were keep pushing a different direction. We left the store and didn't even buy a thing. Also, we were promised some watch 'material' would be sent to our room. None was delivered.

Food was poor service very slow. Employees are overworked and understaffed. Lido dinner buffet was terrible. Steak house and deli for our 8 days. Sad to see carnival cut back on everything. Carnival was always our 1st choice. Now it's not

I think with more people doing anytime dining, that restaurant gets packed at times. I think they have a problem controlling the flow in there! Great service with set times still!
