Review summary

We thoroughly enjoyed this Eastern Caribbean cruise with Carnival.  The staff, the entertainment, the activities provided were wonderful.  Wherever you were on the ship there were always smiles and greetings from the staff asking how our cruise was and if we needed assistance with anything.  Food and choice of foods were excellent.  If you can't find anything you like to eat or lack of something to do, it definitely is your own fault.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Choice of foods was unbelievable!! So many options, liked the "something you always wanted to try....." option. Love the buffet and the speciality bars! Oh and soft serve ice cream/yogurt.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Didn't always actively participate, but had a good time watching others participating. Karaoke is a must, as well as activities in the Atrium, and putt-putt golf.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The music and upbeat tempo is inspiring and energizing! Enjoyed the different locations/type of music available. Liked the special stage performances and the performers were unbelievable..so much talent.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
No children in our party. Can't really critique this aspect.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service staff were always smiling and greeting us. Ones that we would especially like mention are: Ludo, our room steward; Kamal, our dinner head waiter; and the women that also waited on us..Tamsingphy; Lorelei; and Phyu. NO COMPLAINTS, ONLY PRAISE!!

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Cleanliness was exceptional. Staff was always cleaning. Design...too much pink color. Tropical colors of reds, blues, greens would be more to our liking.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabins are designed to provide many aspects of living in such a small area. Kudos!! We especially liked the little extra touches, "the towel animals", the free bottles of water, the shampoo, conditioner and body wash and even a safe for our valuables.

Ship tip

So much to do and so little time....Make sure you go to the Serenity Deck; Go for Karaoke; and SMILE...you are always being asked to pose for a picture.

I gave 5 out of 5 too! Was on the Splendor January 29th - February 5th. Very good service, food and entertainment. Definitely cruising again! Some reviews are really sour. It's what you make of it for sure! We loved it!
