Review summary

I enjoyed my cruise on Carnival Splendor. It was relaxing, Staff was pleasant. Dining Staff was very friendly and personal. They truly work hard for their money. Not to mention being away from family for months at a time. As far as the ship itself it is dated, needs a facelift.  If you have  18 to 20 year olds traveling with you not much for them to do on ship, they cannot be in the casino and clubs were filled with older travelers. Ports of call were nice. Grand Cayman was great. Loved the private beach for cruisers.

nothing out of the ordinary. Traveling with older children left minimal space for them to sleep. Not to mention all their stuff.

Ship tip

If on a budget take a carnival cruise. Family oriented ship.
