Traveled As: Family (older children)

Room Type: Inside

Cabin: 1343 & 1408

This was an amazing experience! The crew of Splendor were all outstanding, very accommodating and made us feel at home. Evening meals were spectacular in the dining room, the buffet for lunch/breakfast was well stocked with plenty of choices. Cruise Director Kevin did a very good job of keeping the place busy with entertainment choices. All in all and outstanding trip!! I highly recommend the Swim with Stingrays and snorkel excursion on Grand Turk. Those guys were great as well, Capt. Kelvin, crew Jason and David.

Cabin / Stateroom
Steward was excellent, small space but its a ship...we fit fine once we organized ourselves, 4 per cabin.

Miami, Florida
Its Miami....
Amber Cove (Puerto Plata), Dominican Republic Its a new harbor destination and all the locals are happy to see you, Puerto Plata tour and beach excursion was nice, might recommend snorkeling on all trips if that suits as the water is amazing throughout the caribbean
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Shopper's paradise, bring money. There are many sales at the shops on board the ship and the ship's shopping expert will clue you into deals on land. If you want jewelry, buy the coupon book she offers.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Walking tours are fun but are a work out! San Juan is like San Francisco, lots of mountain climbing...
Grand Turk Island
Chukka tours swim with stingrays and snorkel excursion is AWESOME!!!! Don't miss it. And swim the crowded beach left of the pier as you disembark, the one to the right is less crowded but unless you like walking on rocks, its not good past the water line,

Be sure to read the daily Funtimes (ship bulletin), it tells you all that is going on for the ship. Don't miss the nightly dining in the dining room, many surprises there. The shows in lounges (aft) and show-hall (forward) were all worth the time to go see.
