Review summary

This was our 7th different Carnival ship and I would have to say our least favorite. Needs upgrades badly.

Overall our cruise was OK. Food in the Dining Room was great. Buffet was not so good. We also ate in the Steakhouse 1 nite and always loved it. Not this time. Service was slow and the steak was bland tasting. I would just say it was an off cruise. Nothing horrible but nothing to make us want to cruise on the Splendor again. Also bartender in sports bar was slow and blah. Cabin steward attended to our need but was also kind of blah. I realize it's not the best job in the world but we like when they are friendly and upbeat. No bag tournaments either. We love to play bags. Activities seemed to be lacking. It was an older clientele so maybe that's why.Still love Carnival but will never sail the Splendor again.
