This ship is very clean in all areas. The decor and art are very nice. There is always something interesting to look at. The crew members are always working hard to provide tentative and friendly service. We really appreciate their hard work and away from family esp. during holiday times. The cruise had some great entertainment as well. We feel the company is working hard to make sure people have a great time and we certainly did.

We took the Christmas and New Year's cruise, 10 days. I must say that the ship is a decent size, but there is not enough to do on board for 10 days. The ship is geared more towards those that have families. The weather was phenomenal and the excursions were a good value. However, at the ports that we did not have an excursion, there was not much to do and the excursions did involves quite a bit of travel time. The stateroom steward was AMAZING. We are fairly tidy people and pick up after ourselves, but to straighten our shoes and turn down the covers for us was great. I was truly impressed in this area. However, I was disappointed in the dining options. All of the buffet lines serve the same thing in the mornings and there is a deli option for lunch/dinner, but the buffet lines still serve the same thing. The pizza station was disgusting. I'm not sure what type of cheese is still super stringy and slides off the pizza (like hot pizza does) when it's COLD? I'm not sure if the cheese was fake or not, but it was gross. The dining room food was good, but our waitor offered very poor service. We decided not to eat here every night because of this. For example, we were one of the first tables to sit and one of the last to leave because we would just be sitting while he served the others, rather rude. The shows were good, but repeated. It was a good value, but I might opt for a shorter cruise or different line next time.

Need to review your chess board on deck to be used as a band platform. Children playing chess were repeatedly chased away because a band was scheduled to play. By the way the children could keep a better tune than the band played.

Great ship, activities, itinerary and crew. Had a blast. Minus getting on and off the ship at start and end it was a wonderful experience all around. Highly recommended.

The ship is beautiful and well run. The staff is excellent and the cruise director very attentive to detail, keeping activities going strong. The constant push on shopping and sales is tiresome for repeat cruisers.

Well built, many activities

The Carnival Spirit was an outstanding ship with an outstanding staff! The food was excellent whether in the dining room, the buffet, or the steakhouse. The Cruise director and assistant were outstanding! The variety shows rivaled Vegas and the comedy club featured several great comedians. Had a great time!

At first I thought the ship's food court areas and atrium gaudy but when I realized they were making look like a "carnival" as in Mardi Gras I liked it! Very elaborate!

3 times & your out. After returning from 3 seperate Carnival cruises, I swore never again. Been on 7 cruises with a total of 4 different cruise lines. Carnival is my least favorite. Dont be fooled on there great cruise fares. Remember the saying, "You get what you paid for!'

The ship appearance overall was nice. However, the lack of activities and tardiness to ports made the experience less than average.

The ship is pretty and really big.

This 9 day cruise that was the most disapointing of all our cruise experiences. Very few or no day time activities and majority of entertainment was provided by guests and/or several hours after dinner. Won't make this mistake twice.

The ship was beautiful, the staff was friendly, and we had a good time. I have never been to Cabo; it was my favorite port. It was clean and the beach was really nice. We went horseback riding in Ensenada which was fun for beginners but for anyone else it was very boring.

Crew as always gave 110% to make it a great cruise. Those that selected the menu did not do a great job, much improvement required. New free style dining option a bonus.

older ship starting to show its age..

Loved the ship, always plenty of things to do and staff was excellent.

The ship itself was a little outdated, but clean. It rocked quite a bit.

The Spirit was very nice and a good size. We especially liked the bar, lobby and pool areas.
