Review summary

This is our fourth Carnival Cruise ship. We have been on the Tropicale, the Conquest, the Splendor, three months ago and now the Spirit. Each ship had it's own personality due to decor. Eventhough the Splendor is decorated completely different from the Spirit it was nice that the deck plans were similair. The ship was very clean and everyone was friendly. Already booked another cruise on Carnival Miracle to Hawaii for 15 nights.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

Love the fruit soups that Carnival offers. Hats off to the chef! Good variety of food each night. Our dining time was changed from 8:15 pm to 7:45 pm and we liked it better.

One piece of luggage was lost on ship and after 8:00 pm the first night it was found. Guest services were very helpful.

Loved the decor. So beautiful and rich looking.

Cabin / Stateroom

Kept very clean and was very comfortable. The size was good for three.

Pros: Having been on many tropical cruises, going to Alaska was so different and absolutely beautiful. The beauty of the glaciers, snow capped mountain and all the greenery is awesome. The Carnival Spirit kept us informed on so many details of what we were sailing by.

Cons: No one can predict the weather and it is the chance one takes anywhere they travel. I wish that it hadn't rained so much.
