This was our first Cruise and we are sold! We had so much fun and also were able to relax and be pampered by the crew on the ship. We were treated very friendly by all the service crew. I have never been pampered like that ever! The entertainment (i.e. the musical shows, comedians, deck parties, etc) were AMAZING! I can't say enough about the Carnival Spirit! It really is the FUN ship!

Great cruise although the days are sea were boring for our children.

The food was great, crew was really friendly. Activities for kids were great!

Service was not good. Cabin barely got cleaned. Service in dining room was almost non existant. Excursion desk, shopping desk, and over all staff was hard to find and when you did get a chance they were rude.

This was our first cruise, we had a great time, although looking back we wish we had just spent the extra money and gotten the balcony room, it would have been worth it. The entertainment was great, so much to do for people of all ages. The staff works unbelievable hard to make sure everyone is having fun and is comfortable, our room was cleaned twice a day, and the food and dinning option were amazing. We are definatly doing another cruise, but again I was so thankful and amazed by how hard the crew worked, they were always clean the ship from top to bottum from the early morning hours and all throughout the day. Just a wonderful experience. OUr cruise director was so fun too "Jen" funny funny lady, she hosted some funny shows. Thank everyone for makin gour vaca a fun one

Spirit had very nice facilities, but some of the furniture is beginning to show it's age. Lots of activities are available. Staff was very friendly, helpful and engaging. The ship's time was not coordinated with all of the port's land time. This caused confusion in excursion times.

The ship's service and food was wonderful. Carnival is a fantastic way to unwind on a vacation.

If you like Circus Circus in Las Vegas, you'll love this ship! My girlfriend developed a new word that aptly describes the cruise-garrishness. The decor looks like Dali painted it after a bad day at the office, the food was tasteless, the people mostly twenty somethings drinking until they "yaked" and having cat fights in the dining room. The only thing missing was a food fight. If you want to relive your college days eating dorm food and trying out for a spot on "jackass" this is the cruise for you.

The ship was great. Very clean. Late in the evening or early in the morning you could see the staff tend to the cleaning duites very effectively.

The layout of the ship was not easily accessable for common paths such as eating and using the restrooms on deck.

We had a great time as a family, there was something to do for everyone, of any age. The staff were all so friendly and ready to answer questions or offer a helping hand when needed. This was our second cruise and we were already talking about going on another cruise as soon as we got back. I would recommend Carnival to all my friends and family.

This was a very enjoyable cruise. Again Carnival has the best staff and service! Our cabin was always maintained and the wait staff ot our 8:15pm seating were amazing. The Maitred was very enjoyable and approachable making every night at dinner an upbeat experience.

This was a beautiful and well maintained ship with an exceptional crew. We had great service and very much enjoyed the dinners in the formal dining room and the evening shows and comedy acts. However, I wish Carnival would go totally non-smoking. We had a lovely balcony to sit and watch the scenery, but our 'next door neighbor' was a chain smoker. Every time we went to sit on the balcony, we were sucking in his second-hand smoke. Also, the pool area and bars and casinos also allowed smoking. Next time I cruise, it will only be on a smoke free vessel.

we sailed in 2001 the first time and the ship is older but better now...the food and service and the refurbishing

the ship is nice if you are traveling with no kids.but the bad thing is that there is only 1 dance club,and the dj isnt all that great,there is too much smoking in the casino!

The ship was nice. Vibration a bit of a problem. never felt that before.

At Empire restaurant seating we would never get a table with a window but instead, a table with a view to a window but away from an actual window even though we would always ask for one.

Couldn't wait for cruise to end. Everything sub-standard at best.

The ship was immaculate, always clean everywhere; I don't know how they did it so thoroughly and seamlessly. The crew was so friendly and welcoming, always willing to do whatever they could to make our cruise the best. They genuinely treated you as their valued guest, and they genuinely enjoyed doing so. They make the Spirit have a spirit.
