Review summary

Our cruise in Alaska was wonderful. This was our second cruise with Carnival. We had an obstructed view balcony room. This balcony was fine - for the difference in price it was well worth it. You could see over the life boats just fine. A balcony room is a must for an Alaskan cruise. There are times when they annouce whale sitings, etc. and it is great to be able to go to the balcony if you happen to be in your cabin.

Pros: The great service especially in the dining room. The views were wonderful.

Cons: The Lido deck - it was always so crowded you could not get seats during the main times.
