Carnival Cruise

Sail Date: October 30, 2006

Reviewed: 10 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Balcony

The ship was great

Pros: Ship & Friends

Cons: Not real satisfied with Carnival's attention to details

Recommends Carnival Spirit? Yes!

Ship Quality
Enjoyed the ship. I would like to see them locate the smoking lounge away from the enterence to the Dining Room. It was very uncomfortable waiting in a smoking area prior to the Dining Room Doors opening.
Food and Dining
Food was very good, and both the quality and presentation was good. However, service was very weak. We had a waiter that was trying to train a new server and did not know how to deligate so as a consequence was vewry slow and inefficient trying to do everything himself. He also had trouble remembering orders.
Service and Staff
Entertainment
Cabin / Stateroom
Manzanillo, Mexico
Big industrial city.
Don't Miss: Jeep ride through the jungle.
Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, Mexico
Really enjoyed the frienly attitude of Zihuatanejo. It was really clean
Acapulco, Mexico
Have never been impressed with Acapulco. Has excellent beaches and night clubs, but little else
Don't Miss: Nothing
