Was highly disappointed in this cruise. Lack of entertainment, not the room I paid for, lack of onboard activities and canceled prepaid excursions. Pre purchased premium wifi which was absolutely terrible, canceled half way through the cruise, all of my shipmates were complaining. Tv in my state room as well as others throughout the ship wouldnt get any stations from satellite I made the best of a bad cruise though.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkation went well, took about 1.5 hrs to get aboard.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The typical food as you would get on most Carnival ships. We ate ate the Steakhouse on day 2, food and service was top notch, definitely worth the extra charge.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Used the jogging track daily which was nice.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Only saw 2 stage shows in 14 days along with one show from a featured singer (Melissa McLaughlin). The ships stage was small limiting production size. 2 different singers in the atrium area, both were terrible IMO. DJ Scratchy did a great job.
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
The service we recieved from the staff was outstanding! Stateroom Stewart and our go to bartender were amazing! The both knew our names, always greeted us with a smile. Room was always tidy and GDE our bartender always knew what we wanted before we even asked.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
For the age of the ship it was very well maintained. I constantly saw crew members detail cleaning which was great!
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was smaller than we originally booked. The cruise was switched from the Miracle to the Radiance. We had booked extended balcony mid ship, switch to regular balcony at the very front of the ship. Wasn't happy due to wife's motion sickness.
Understand your situation with the cabin switch. We had a similar situation, but had plenty of time to just switch our cruise to a completely different time, itinerary and ship. Sorry you were disappointed.
