Overall we ended up having a good time. Princess Cays doesn't have a dock, so if the waters are rough, they won't shuttle you and the day will be cancelled..which is what happened to us. Freeport may look rundown, but the excursion we went to ended up being the best, so don't let the initial impression ruin the island for you! By the end of the cruise there was nothing different going on, more of the same stuff. "Parties" don't last long, 30-minutes to 1-hour, so don't expect it to be like a real party.

The Pride was late getting back to port. The parking area was told no one could park till 5:30. They did open earlier. Princess Cay was cancelled. We did get to Nassau at 7PM but who wants to get off at night? Not a good idea at all

Was my first cruise and I loved it, heading on my 2nd one in a week

My 12 year old son and I went on the Pride and spent most of our time playing games in the Red frog pub. We usually go with a larger group which is always fun but we found that going with just the two of us can also be fun. The Pride is what you make of it.

Engine problems limited us to 1 port, we were given the option of disembarking or continue on the cruise with a full credit on the next cruise. Crew and staff did everything they could to make the cruse enjoyable.

Overall, our highlights were one particularly good comedian and some quality photography from the shipboard studio.

The ship had problems with its maximum speed capacity so we only were able to visit 1 port. Overall good experience although mother nature was against us and made for very rough travels back to home port.

My family and I took our first ever cruise over Thanksgiving. Unfortunately, the ship had a mechanical problem that did not allow the ship to go at max speed so we were only able to go to one of the three ports on our itinerary. The passengers were informed of the situation and were given the option of getting off the ship with a full refund. About 300 passengers left. If you chose to stay on, each passenger received a $50 onboard credit and a free cruise (100% of the amount you spent on that cruise minus taxes and port fees as a credit toward a future cruise). Obviously it was not an ideal situation but the crew was absolutely amazing and did everything they could to make the best of it. Every crew member my family encountered was friendly and professional throughout the entire cruise. Romeo was our room steward and he was awesome, the room was super clean and we were always well stocked with towels. The shows were lots of fun (especially enjoyed 80s to the max). Loved Guy’s Burgers and the burritos at the Blue Iguana. I’m giving a five star rating based on the crew’s efforts as well as Carnival’s handling/compensation for the mechanical problems.

we love the pride but ccl needs to spend a couple bucks on her. our balcony was covered in rust and missing the roif, you could see what looked luke aabestos covering the ceiling of our balcony. cabin 8239 and cabins forward of it were missing the steel and wgat was theres was covered in rust. sad

Casino was very tight. Lol. But really enjoyed the cruise overall.

From start to finish we had a wonderful time! From meeting the extremely attentive Romeo, our stateroom attendant, to new friends we met at dinner and on excursions, to the weather at each port of call. This was a fabulous cruise!

Overall this journey cruise was good with a few exceptions: 1. Television remote control worked poorly even after having room steward replace it on first day. 2.WiFi service at best was only fair (we had the Value Wi-Fi Plan @ $10.25/day. 3. Television Channels were very limited and commercials were always in a different language which we did not like( not sure why this was broadcasted in a different language ). 4. Shower water was slightly brown when first turned on but cleared up quickly.

Been in the Pride many times. One of my favorite ships as it has a pool on the serenity deck!! Always good service and smaller ships are the ones we enjoy the most.

This was our first time on the Carnival pride also on a journey cruise. All in all we had a great time I could only find a few things that I didn’t like one being that there was too much smoking allowed on the ship and also many people in balconies thought it would be OK to smoke on the balcony and the last thing would be that there is only three hot tubs on board and only once did I find one really hot Food and Dining We really liked the different variety in the menu on a journey cruise compared to other cruises. The wait time seemed a little long but other than that the main dining room was excellent. We only ate at the Lido buffet a handful of times it was good. Service and staff We had no complaints at all with the service. Our cabin steward did a wonderful job as always! Entertainment We really enjoy the punchline comedy shows. There were a few really funny comedians. As for the Taj Mahal shows I believe the performers did a good job I think we just expected something a little different for a 14 day journey Ship quality Yes the pride was in need of some TLC but we knew that it was scheduled for refurbishment in the new year Embarkment This process was one of the quickest that we’ve experienced Debarkation Do you to high volume of platinum and diamond members on this cruise I believe there were over 1000! So this process was a little slower than usual I believe it took us almost 3 hours

Weather was great. Crew was great. Ship needs some work and I was told that will happen soon.

Was nice. Ship was just ok. Really only about 4 decks of the ship that weren't cabins.

We will be taking our 6th cruise on the Pride this October. We have never had a bad experience and will continue to travel Carnival. From the food, the drinks, the shows and entertainment, we always enjoy ourselves.

My first cruise with Carnival was on Freedom and I loved it. The Pride is smaller and the motion was a bit much at some points. Overall, it was a great trip. My favorite entertainer was Cheeky Charlie. She's fantastic!
