Review summary

Couldn't beat it for the price - great value. I realize Carnival just suggests mask wearing, but really, no one wore masks, which was a little surprising.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Always a nice breakfast, love the pizza, dinner in main dining room was hit or miss. They need to offer turkey burgers at the burger bar, and non-dairy milk at the Lido.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Carnival tends to be a party atmosphere, and we're not partyers, so we didn't always participate.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The stage shows were good, but I think they had technical problems with the stage, so we saw the same comedy shows TWICE.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
There's a problem with folks smoking on their balconies, which was annoying, but Carnival would take action if you called.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Nice size. TV remote never works easily - and that's on two Carnival cruises. Would love more comfortable balcony chairs.

On the NCL cruise I just got off of they had almond milk and soy milk and some other non dairy milk at every place you could get a coffee. Not sure about turkey burgers, but there was a sign next to the burger and hot dog station that you can get something on demand. Sorry, but I can't remember what it was. They had chicken or turkey sausages for breakfast next to the pork links. And lots of vegetarian options.

Doesn’t surprise me at all nobody was wearing mask we went last December when wearing a mask was absolutely mandatory in all indoor venues and majority of the people weren’t wearing them unless they were directly called out and then they only wore them for a few minutes

Appreciate your feedback. Smoking on balconies is a problem. Too bad folks don’t believe in the “rules”. Glad you enjoyed your cruise.
