Review summary

Loved this boat, slept like a baby, had a great time. Will be back on this ship I loved it.

Embarkation

This port is easy to find. Would recommend. Also the parking is spread out and it’s worth it to valet park. Everyone was friendly and it was not a rushed.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
All the food was good( and I never say that). The dining room was nice and the food was good. But we did eat at the other venues. We missed eating at the steak house or the sushi place but everyone was raving about both. But the seafood bar that opens I think 4-10 not sure on that was good.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The boat has 3 pools so there’s plenty of room to choose the one you like best. There’s a slide for the kids.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The only shows we went to were the comedy show and it was funny. We didn’t see the other shows. The singers on board were bad ( very bad) but if you like violins there were 3 people who played beautifully if your into that type of music. They did not have a DJ on this boat and the man who did play was not good.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our Stewart was Oscar and he was great. And the guys at the rum bar are great.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The only complaint here is the large windows on the #9 deck were in a serous need of cleaning on the outside of the boat. But just to be fair, this boat is older and it could just be age. Everything else was clean and the staff cleaned all the areas well

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This room has a partial view it was fine and during the safety drill we had a front row seat due to the lifeboat they used was the one to the left of the room. It was clean, pretty quite and decent size. Oscar our room attendant was awesome. There are some sites saying it has a door that opens. This is not the case. But the door windows let in a lot of light.

Ship tip

This is a smaller boat but it is perfect for relaxing and there was not an issues with crowds and we think the ship was full when we departed. It’s very well laid out and we will be back to this boat.

Ports of call

Belize City, Belize

We were going to get off the boat and check it out since we had not been here in over 10 years but when we heard the people who had returned and canceled their excursion due to safety concerns and others with stories similar we decided we were good on the boat. There seemed to be only 1 tender boat and it took 30 or more minutes in each direction so check that ahead of time.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Beautiful place, kinda resort like. We only went to the port site. It’s set up like a huge outdoor mall. It does have a water type “park” with a built in beach. There were cute animal thinks around that was really cute but the stores all seemed to be pricey. It’s very pretty and worth checking out.

Disembarkation

This went well, kinda disorganized but it worked. Was off the boat quickly ( just remember if your taking your luggage with you, you must be able to keep ahold of it with 1 hand and travel down 2 escalators) we packed light wasn’t an issue. We walked right through no issues and had our auto in 3 minutes ( again do valet parking FIRST TIMERS and it was a definite time saver worth a few more bucks )
