Had a wonderful experience as we usually do on Carnival. I always recommend Carnival to anyone looking for a cruise. This was a fun ship with an excellent crew. We will be back!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was delicious in every place I ate. Missed the sausage gravy and biscuits at breakfast though. I was VERY disappointed that the ship did not have flavored creamers!!! Missed my morning coffee with my favorite creamers. Also, I would like to have had Calamari on the menu every night instead of shrimp cocktail!

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
pool areas were well maintained and enjoyable. loved the casino and the bar areas had plenty of seating

Entertainment

5 out of 5
loved the comedy shows, trivia games and especially the lip synch battle! Marty was a wonderful cruise director! He made the week fun for everyone. Wish he was on every cruise! Loved all the movies at the dive-in!

Children's Programs

my grandson participated in the kids club and had a blast!!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
our room steward was above excellent!! He took great care of us! Everyone crew member was so polite and helpful. I feel like everyone really cares about the guests!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The Pride is the smallest ship that I have been on so I liked that everything was really close to our rooms. Everything was clean with the exception of the windows!! It was hard to see out of the windows in all the dining areas. I understand the sea-spray but they were covered in rust streaks when we got on. Maybe a quick power wash while in port? They just gave the ship the overall appearance of being dirty.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Excellent!! Beds and bedding were soft and comfortable. Room was cleaned everyday and very well-maintained. There were 4 people in our cabin so it was a little crowded but we worked it out. This was my first balcony room and that is what I will have on all future cruises! Need to add some electrical outlets the each room. 1 is not enough for 4 people trying to charge phones, ipads, hairdryers, shavers and other things. This was the only disappointing thing about the room!

Ship tip

go to the dining room for dinner every night!! It is a fun experience with the waiters and the food is incredible!

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

5 out of 5
The port was easy to get to from our train station. Did not visit the city.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

beach was nice. If the island is owned by Carnival why can't you use your sign and sail card?

Nassau, Bahamas

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

It rained that day so our excursion was cancelled but refunded immediately! Very pleased with that transaction!

Disembarkation

very long and confusing. we expected to arrive in port early and get off the ship by 10 but we could not get off until a little after 12. we were worried that we would miss our train but we made it just in time.
