Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Clean and pleasant. We had anytime dining and was given a pager when arriving at 6:30. Dinner for four would take an average of a hour in a half. No time schedule when your on a cruise, so not a big deal. Drawn butter for lobster tails seemed watered down as well as the cocktail sauce that came with the shrimp cocktails.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Water slide was breath taking. Plenty of time at sea sailing to the our points of destination so plenty of trivia and bingo. No rock walls on Carnival Pride. Smoking is allowed in the casino and it was terrible. I’m a non-smoker but like to play the slots. Had to take a shower to get the smoke off me.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
On board entertainment was provided by there own entertainers. Comic relief was presented by Percy Cruise II, and Jersey. Percy was very funny and Jersey was ok.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Everyone was professional. Cabin steward was pleasant and nice.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Nice ship. No issues. Layout was fine.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Cabin was fine. One burned out light upon our arrival to the cabin, which I reported to the steward and was fixed. Balcony maintenance took place on three different occasions, 10 to 15 minutes each time. Did not clean up paint chips after scraping the balcony that were left on the balcony deck and chairs. I paid extra for a balcony so disappointed that maintenance would be performed while cruising. Perhaps a small inconvenience but you pay extra to have it during your cruise 24/7. Makes me think twice before paying extra for a balcony in the future. And yes, I could have told the cabin steward about the paint chips that were on the balcony but do I need to point out everything that needs attention. The cabin steward or maintenance crew should had seen it and cleaned it up. Also, the balcony stayed wet most of the time with misting air, so expect the balcony deck and chairs to be slippery most of the time.

Ship tip

If you are a non-smoker and like to gamble pack a gas mask!
