It was ok just a few things I disliked that needed improvement.

Review summary

Overall I had a good time. This was my 2nd cruise and my 1st cruise was last year Carnival Horizon. I must say I really enjoyed Carnival Horizon much better. The big thing I didn't like about this ship was it was a little unorganized and too many children running around up and down the hallways unsupervised/ playing knocking on doors games. No one has time for that, this is vacation!!! Also I noticed parents with small children sitting in ADULT shows!! It was somethings not appropriate for them to listen too, especially if it said 18 and over!! I did not like the fact that children were playing Bingo..they should have more game activities strictly for the children.they could of had a Bingo kids night or something. I went down for ice cream one night and obviously some kids had thrown ice cream cones on the floor and made a completely mess on the tables etc.

Embarkation

Very fast but I felt they didnt check throughly especially through Commissions. Anyone could had brought a bomb through there.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Cheeseburgers and taco bar was awesomeness! The only thing that was a con, they closed too early. Especially the taco bar closing at 2pm wasnt good at all. It says on the website that you can eat all night ..it should be more choices besides pizza, sandwiches and buffet bar!

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Bingo, Comedy Club( l loved Macio, Micheal and Jaylnn) they were soo funny. I think they should had more like Latin Dance Class, Family Fued, and dance nightclub for grown grown people like 40s and up.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Dr E, Fluffy and Djexperience were my favorites. They kept the crowd entertained. And the comedians were great too! I also enjoyed the Heart and Soul shows and Lip Sing Battle.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Putra accommodated my room requests. He kept it clean. I enjoyed Lee as my waiter, very generous, kind spoken and funny Some of the ship personnel needed more English speaking skills. I could not understand them and they didn't understand what I was saying sometimes.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Yes but some of the women bathrooms were smelly and not so clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
I think it was just a bit small from the 1st cruise I went on but I loved the oceanview. For the most part it was comfortable.

Ship tip

To be aware of all those children just running around unruly.

Ports of call

Baltimore, Maryland

Grand Turk Island

2 out of 5
Very poor island and sad to see those people and animals in disarray. The island was very dirty and the ocean was too.

Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)

5 out of 5
Loved it!! Music, food, the ocean was clean and everything was grand here!

Freeport, Grand Bahama Island

3 out of 5
The excursion I went on was a sight seeing one and the driver was kind of sarcastic and boring. I felt like I was on a real estate tour.

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
Unorganized,it could had been a much easier way for disembarking. The employees did not even checked my bags. I could had brought anything illegal back.

We went on a summer cruise once, lots and lots of kids. Go cruising when the kids are in school.

Agree with most of the things mentioned. It was probably Summer Vacation for the kids, which may have been why there was so many. As far as having Latin Dance classes, other lines offer this, so I don't see why Carnival can't.
