Review summary

The only bad experience I had was my mom is in a wheel chair we went outside the dining room to smoke and there is a huge bump to go over and when we did he battery got caught on the bump and ripped the cord out. So I went to customer service and asked them to borrow an Allen wrench and a screwdriver and the man told me no. So I had to rent a push wheelchair and push her every where which kinda ruined my trip.

Definitely room steward. He, or she, would have gotten what you needed from a mechanic onboard, or gotten one to help you. Seems Customer Service, no matter what industry, id more about their own PR and making sure YOU know why they can't help rather than actually "servicing the customer". Customer service is all about telling you "no" with a smile. The room steward is the REAL customer service onboard a ship.

I agree with Roger that the room steward can really be a great help. He probably could have scrounged up some tools for you.

We found that the best way to get help IS to tell your room steward they will get you help.
