Review summary
Our favorite part of the trip was spending time together with friends and family that came along with us. We were expecting better quality food day to day. The best meals we had were the Chef's Table & David's Steakhouse. Those are extra of course and they should be better but we were disappointed in the lido deck dining with the exception of Guy's Burgers. We could have eaten at Guy's everyday but that is not making any healthy choices all week. The staff was pleasent enough though communication was an issue at times. Our cabin steward Ni was awesome. Very frustrating trying to get off the ship the morning we arrived home. Four hours.....really??!!. Their explanations are nonsense. Carnival doesn't want to pay more than 4 customs agents to process the debarkation is my guess. They certainly had enough people to process us on thd ship!! Carnival also did not honor the Cheers package as we purchased it. Tried to talk with the food & beverage manager twice but he was always too busy. Ridiculous! Well maybe we found out cruising isn't our thing or maybe cruising with Carnival isn't. Either way it will be a while before we cruise again. The private island half moon cay was awesome!
