Review summary

My wife & I very much enjoyed the cruise and locations.  This was our 3rd cruise on Carnival Pride so the ship feels like home to us.  The only slightly negative observation we saw was that this cruise was overwhelmingly filled with older, retired people.  So, there was a constant dealing with people using scooters, walkers & wheelchairs.  Not a problem for us, but should be noted for younger people wanting a younger crowd on a cruise.

When we booked this cabin we were told it was a partially obstructed view because of lifeboats below the cabin. I was told that the obstructed view would be straight down - which was no big deal. Unfortunately, the life boats were at our level so the view of the water was obstructed. We spent almost no time on our balcony because of that. Otherwise, the cabin was as expected.

Ship tip

We've enjoyed the Pride on our 3 cruises aboard it.

also depends on the length of your cruise, people who work mostly prefer 7 nights, whereas retiree's take longer cruises, no clocks to punch or vacation days to count

Could you tell me if the Pride has a Mongolian wok set up for lunch? The last time we were on the Valor, they had one and it was great. Thanks

I think the type of crowd on Carnival depends on the time of year and port the ship departs from. Carnival offers great prices so more and more people are taking advantage of the price so they can go on more cruises. Carnival is now for people of ALL ages!! 🍹🌴🚢
