Review summary

What I liked best on this cruise was the friendly, helpful people that ran the cruise, especially Steve, the cruise director.  With lots of things to occupy oneself with, the time went by while the waves crashed, the winds blew, delicious food was consumed as were lots of drinks. We went to the Kennedy Space Center and enjoyed that insightful visit, which brought back many memories and much inspiration about what our country has accomplished.  The port of call in Nassau included a short tour and an underwater look at the coral reefs and fish.  Unfortunately our planned horseback ride on the beach had been cancelled because of the weather while we were in Free Port.  We were delighted with the whole trip and would certainly recommend it to others who would enjoy the trip to the Bahamas on the Carnival Pride.

Cabin / Stateroom

Room was great -- a tad cold with no heat available and because of the weather we spent a good bit of time in the cabin resting, which is why we scheduled the cruise to begin with.

Ship tip

A stateroom with a balcony is always a plus and well worth booking for the extra room.
