Review summary

this was our 2nd trip on Carnival Pride and we must say it was not up to par this time. the lows--We experienced several issues on board: No air conditioning at times, brown water, intermittent water during showers, toilets at times did not flush, no elevators service 1 day, inadequate food and temperature of food during the breakfast buffet. Very disappointed in the quality of entertainment on board and the lack of things to do while on board. Adult serenity area needs to have more shaded seating available. the highs--our dining room wait staff was excellent and food selections very good, Our cabin steward was very attentive and provided excellent service as well.

danidog13....as others have said, the cruise is what you make of it...and how you handle the inevitable problems that arise. I think with any cruise some will say it was horrible and others will say same cruise was excellent. I'm sure you all will have a fantastic time and look forward to your...hopefully...excellent review when you return!

We are sailing on Dec 6th. It will be our 4th time on this ship. I'm seeing good reviews and bad reviews. I don't know what to think.

Just a quick note about the bottled water on Carnival...you can order it from the fun shop online before your cruise, and when you place your order it asks when you want to have it delivered to your cabin. unless you have to have it when you board on day 1...select to have it delivered on day 2, because then you don't have to pay tax on your purchase as you are out to sea on day 2 and there is no tax. Same goes for any purchases you make prior to boarding from the fun shop. More money to spend on other goodies lol

I bought 2 cases of bottled water for my mom and sister (mom has a lot of medication to take) a week before the cruise and was delivered to their room before they got there.

Cruiser501 we did had problems with the water being brown which is why I'm glad I brought 2 cases of water for my family. The serenity retreat do need more shading seats. Really didn't care for the buffet (I prefer to be served lol☺️) other than that, I had a great time. Hopefully, it'll be better the next time you decide to go again.

anonomus1 don't let that stop you. I was on Pride last month and I enjoyed every moment of it, even after reading bad reviews. You gotta make it work for you.

This is like the second bad review of the Pride from a recent cruise. I'm getting nervous! Hope the fix all these issues. Waited a long time for this much needed vacation.
