Review summary
This was our first Carnival Cruise (we have taken other cruise lines before). My two younger children, ages 10 & 13 did not enjoy the Camp Carnival, but did find plenty of activities outside of the camp that they enjoyed doing, both with the family and on their own. Since we go to Florida on a regular basis, this port was not very exciting for us and we would have rather stopped at their private Island, but my older children, ages 18 & 16 did enjoy a trip to Kennedy Space Center with my wife, while I stayed back on the ship with the younger ones and enjoyed the water park and other activities that were emptier. The highlight of the trip was a day at Atlantis, with a shallow water dolphin experience.
Overall the cruise was fun....good food, clean and the staff were all friendly.

I was happy to read that overall your cruise went great. My husband and I took our family to the Kennedy space Center just a few days ago and we all enjoyed the visit so much. I'm sorry that you didn't get a chance to go here also. Maybe you can do so on your next visit to Port Canaveral.
