Review summary

First time travel on Carnival. A much needed respit from the cold temps in Baltimore .Ccruise was as expected for late January travel. Seas were a bit rough but ship handled most of it with ease. Sailed on the Pride whose interior decor was somewhat unexpected. We had always heard that Carnival was the Fun Line and expected much brighter colors. Ships crew were fantastic and very interesting to talk too. Our cabin staff could not have been more generous with their time and expertiece. Cabin was immaculate all through the trip. Food was somewhat disappointing and did not compare with other cruises lines. Selection was limited and hours of operation during port calls was confussing. Formal dining menu was also limited although the food was satisfactory. Stayed on board during the trip as the 3 ports of call are BORING, too say the least ( we had already visted each during previous cruises) All in all, it was a nice getaway. Probably look at other lines before we book with Carnival for future cruise plans.
