Returned 8/27/17, Carnival Pride cabin 7208 . Cabin great location. Perfect size for 2 or 3 if The third is a child. The only noise EVER heard was the occasional loud passersby. Just around corner from elevators. No noise from the elevators. Down to deck 2 and 3 for shopping , guest services and atrium OR up 2 decks to Lido deck . Remember to use the elevators by the atrium elevators no matter which deck and you will always end up at your cabin 7208 door. All of the staff was great. Be sure and take the time to meet your steward . Grand Turk was nice enough , The beach is nice ,but it does have a lot of shells and small rocks use shoes . If you walk up the beach a little way , There the sand starts to smooth out. Some shopping opportunities. The large pool in the main square is for cruisers and is free. There is also FREE beach chairs and umbrellas So don't let the locals ROOK you into paying for the few that they do own . Margarettaville is there but with the exception of having said that you went to Margaretta save your money (SAVE) and eat at Jack's Shack , Better food , drinks and prices . If you explore the beach a bit you just might find some VERY inexpensively priced 2 for 1 rum punches. Half Moon Cay (Carnival own island) , Beautiful water and powdered beach . The free lunch is worth having . Remember your CHEERS package doesn't apply. Freeport , ????? Why oh why . Unless there is an excursion you just can't pass up I suggest get off the ship ONLY if you need or want to buy island souvenirs and hop right back on the ship . Take advantage of a ship that is pretty much empty of passengers because they went on excursion. . I really don't understand why this port is a stop. Bigger minds at work than mine. The funshops on board are great , Sure it can be pricey BUT hold off and wait for the sales and raffles and get a little more for your money . The jewelry is something to look into . Grab a DRINK at many places on board, I suggest as a decent kick off to your evening travels , to go the ATRIUM bar . Pamper yourself and be pampered. Kick back and sail.
