Review summary

As a first-time cruiser I didn't know what to expect. The ship was huge and beautiful. All areas of the ship were clean and the hospitality of the staff blew us away. We had a stateroom with a balcony that was very comfortable and kept clean by the room steward who called us by our names even on the first day. Our dining room waiter and bar waitress were amazing, friendly and courteous. The shows were great also and there were various entertainers during the days and evenings as well.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Overall the food was good, we enjoyed the dining room food better than the buffet selection. Maybe the breakfast buffet could be a little better but no complaints.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
We liked the shows, the lounge singers and stand-up comedians could have been better but all in all they had good entertainment.

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
They have different clubs for different age groups of kids which is probably very helpful for families with kids. The overall quality of facilities are well-kept and clean.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We liked our room steward, our dining room waiter and bar waitress the best. They made us feel special and at home.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was clean and the staff made sure they kept everything clean and well organized.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our stateroom had a balcony which we enjoyed a lot. The size of the stateroom wasn't too big but we were still comfortable. The beds were very comfortable and the room steward kept the room and bathroom very clean. He cleaned the room twice a day and the towel animals were a nice touch. There was enough closet space for our clothes and we had 3 of us staying in the room.

Ports of call

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

3 out of 5
Cabo had nice beaches where we rented a jet-ski again and had a great time. Later we rented ATVs and cruised around town. The locals were very friendly.

Mazatlan, Mexico

5 out of 5
Mazatlan was great, we rented a jet-ski and swam in the ocean. Coming back from the beach we had a cab driver drive us around the city showing us the sites. Later we rented an open jeep and drove around the city and enjoyed it a lot.
Don't Miss: Go to the beach and see the downtown area.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
We enjoyed this city a lot, it's beautiful and clean and there are a lot of things to do. We got a tour guide for 4 hours who drove us around the city, we went for tequila tasting and had lunch at a restaurant in the "jungle". It's worthwile to have a tour guide show the city to visitors, we saw lots of different places.

Pros: The hospitality of staff

Cons: The high prices of the pictures taken by the photographers
