Review summary

Very good time on Carnival Pride. The zip line excursion in Puerto Vallarta was the best, followed by Stone Island beach in Mazatlan. Cabo is beautiful too. The dolphin encounter is great.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Half of the buffet food is bad but they want you to pay and eat in a restaurant on the ship.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
Entertainment was the weakest thing about the trip.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Staff was friendly and smiled a lot.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Pools are small and salt water. But other than that it was nice.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Get a balcony cabin for the 7 day trip. Spacious but the bathroom smelled of mildew because of poor ventilation. They should make the cabin windows open and close.

Ports of call

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

The zip line rules. It's called the Jungle Canopy Tour. Humid in August but unforgettable. Transport jeep broke down on the way but we got another one quickly.
Don't Miss: Canopy TOur

Mazatlan, Mexico

3 out of 5
Stone Island rules! Friendly local staff, beautiful beach with restaurants and opne bar/free lunch/horse carriage tour.
Don't Miss: Stone Island beach

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
The best of all. Gorgeous water. Cabo Wabo Cantina makes the best lobster fajitas ever.
Don't Miss: $20 for 2 boat taxi to see the arch, beaches and turquoise water.

Pros: Excursions, room size, balcony, friendly staff

Cons: The pizza, the weak entertainment
