Review summary

I am not usually one to complain and because I feel like I got what I paid for in a very good way. I won't. I will however give some advice 1. the elevators in the beginning with ALWAYS be slower its ok you're on vacation relax be patient you'll be on this ship for however long 2. learn how the elevators work 3. if you don't like kids then don't go on ANY cruise with kids 4. drink responsibly and do you best to relax and let things go if its that that serious and remember we are all human be more kind and forgiving 5. not all experience is the same for all cruisers while some may not like cruising, don't let that change your mind about cruising I am addicted and I've only gone on one. that's it enjoy yourself and love everyone

Embarkation

had a lot of fun getting ready to sail, didn't make it to the main deck but that doesn't mean we still didn't have fun!!!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
loved having food any time I wanted at my finger tips, including room service, the buffet was amazing and loved the verity and quality of the food.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
there were so many different parties and so many different activities I didn't even get to do them all there were so many

Entertainment

4 out of 5
OK all of the entertainment including the karaoke was simply AWESOME!! if I had to complain about anything it would be the "all white party" it was VERY VERY CROWDED it would have been better outside and the music wasn't very diverse so a few of us ended up leaving seeing how we would have liked to hear just a more diverse genre of music Marty the cruise directors energy was simply amazing just those 2 things ruined it for me

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
I was so very impressed with this I raved to my little sister about brining my niece and nephew and how amazing the staff is with the kids. I would feel safe bringing my kids on a cruise

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
This one is the hardest one. While I ran into some amazing staff. one just ruined my entire trip. first let me praise the staff that went above and beyond and impressed me with how helpful they were My Cab Steward "kim" freaking ROCKED and made us smile the entire trip, Polina Kobyakova guest service supervisor almost knew my questions before I asked them and made me feel so much at ease as this was my first cruise. But unfortunately there was another young women in guest service her name was Julia her attitude her very UNPROFESSIONAL attitude was so horrible. I would also like to add a suggestion. maybe you can change the colors on our sign and sail cards based on if we are first time cruisers or if we've been on one before so that cruise staff understand and can be patient with those of us who are on our first cruise. I had to ask her the same questions 7 times because I wasn't familiar with "ship" talk as I call it and she spoke to me like I was wasting her time, the eye rolling the tone just unnecessarily rude. It made me not even want to go back up to the counter. she for sure needs more training. If I run into her again I will stop and speak with her manager

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
it was very clean, very nice and the couch that turned into a bed was very VERY comfy. I was pretty shocked

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
there were 3 of us and a lot of luggage and with proper organization we had lots of room

Ship tip

always check if a restaurant or something is free or not. I made that mistake seeing a bunch of people in line for a bunch of different areas and assumed it cost money the entire time it was FREEE!! go and check everywhere and ask everyone lol

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

we did the( Camel & Mexican out back adventure with lunch) the camel ride was soooo much fun and the lunch, which I didn't know came with Tequila tasting and I even learned how to make a real tortilla. our tour guide was fun and I'd go again and again

Mazatlan, Mexico

(Mountain ATV Adventure & Rhythms of the Night) now here is where I had the most fun off shore, funny thing is after reading the reviews for both I almost cancelled. I truly suggest you do these if not any other one. the Rhythm of the night does 10000%% have a lot of walk around and it does get very dark and some what crowded and Book the last time because its a fire show and its more enjoyable at night but it was the most amazing experience I've ever had in my life. DON'T MISS THIS just prepare for walking in very dim light and the food WOW JUST WOW.......... the boat that transported us TOOOOOOO the excursion was kind of slow and long and was wondering if it would be the same on our way back and to my surprise..................they put on the best show I've ever seeeeennnnnnnnnn I would for sure go back and just go to this excursion and the boat ride back to the cruise ship for that entertainment. we sang we danced we laughed, even the people who looked uncomfortable letting loose had smiles on their face. just fun fun fun

Disembarkation
