Embarkation

I flew in to Long Beach port and met up with Carnivals transportation company. After we waited for additional passengers, we were on our way to Long Beach terminal. We arrived and it was the longest line I’ve ever seen! Literally wrapped around the building. I missed my appointment check in time at 12:30. The line moved steadily but it was long. If you’re not a Platinum or Diamond member then purchase the Faster To The Fun option!

The MDR’s food was good not great. My personal opinion, I think they purposely serve mediocre food so you’ll have to eat at the specialty restaurants.

Great gyoza, shrimp fried rice and short ribs. Customer service was excellent! Highly recommend

I utilized the fitness center and it was adequate enough for me to complete my training. I always treat myself to a massage on each cruise and it’s worth every penny!

Ship tip

Book an early appointment time for embarkation if not, purchase FTTF passes for later appointment times. You could be waiting a minimum of an hour before boarding the ship.

This was one of the most organized disembarkations I’ve ever witnessed. If you had an early flight, you met up in a designated area before 8. 30 minutes later, we were exiting the ship!
