Review summary
Since we live in Northern California, we like the SF 10-day (Princess) to the Mexican Riviera in the winter months. We also have another couple who likes to join us. Well in early spring 2022, the winter itineraries "disappeared" for about a month. I panicked, thinking these were due to pains coming out of covid, and scrambled to find another cruise to Mexico. Well, we did this in Feb 2022 and really enjoyed it -- maybe because it was more than half-empty. Our cruise in December was "full" and much more Carnival-like. Loud and proud and a party -- esp at the central Lido pool deck -- you couldn't even talk to yourself ;-). Great for families and young people, a little too much noise and activity on the ship. We're not old, but we've outgrown this level of "excitement". The ports were great, as usual.Embarkation

Ship tip
Serenity deck for adults to escape the noise. Even the aft pool deck hot tubs were a bustle
