Review summary

We will probably not sail with Carnival again. It didn't seem very organized for getting to different areas.

Embarkation

2 out of 5
computers went down, long wait to board. People embarking and disembarking at the same time. Very confusing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
main dining room was good. Lido deck buffet was too small and difficult to maneuver in.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
The cruise director did not get involved in activities. He would show up, say hello to a few people and leave.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the music and dancing in the Havana Bar.

Children's Programs

no children

Service and Staff

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
The sports bar is located by the main passageway and very crowded on football days. Very difficult to get through.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Cabin was very nice. It was a handicap cabin so roomy enough. The bathroom needed more shelves near the sink.

Ship tip

Don't go on a Players' Club cruise. Too many people and difficult to find a machine or table to play on.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

4 out of 5
Difficult embarkation.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Nice ride thru town and then into mountains for excursion. Tile painting.

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
We shopped at the port, but did not go into town.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

4 out of 5
We didn't disembark as we had a scooter and didn't want to take it on the shuttle.
