It’s hard to complain when you’re on a beautiful ship cruising the Mexican Riviera. However, after sailing on nineteen other cruises we felt somewhat disappointed on this one. The food was not as great as we have previously experienced. The priority amenities were disappointing at best. The inability to post room service requests the night before on the cards was truly missed.
Embarkation

Long lines but out priority status helped.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
We signed up for anytime dining. There were two of us and every night were were seated in the back or in a corner not able to see the activities in the main dining area. The food did not rise to the standards of the many cruises we have been on., 19 others. Very disappointing.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Pool and sunbathing decks were very nice but crowded.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
We only saw one stage show which was good. All 4 of the comedians were fantastic! We often enjoyed two shows a night.

Ship Quality

The casino was very smoky. It would have been nice to have a separate casino for no smokers like we had on the Carnival Magic.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin 1469 was very nice; comfortable, clean, with an unexpected bath tub!
We took a very nice excursion to view the arch by boat (45 minute boat trip), then by bus for 2 hours at the beach including lunch, the 1 hour shopping. Loved it!
Even with priority platinum status we waited over an hour at our meeting place before we ever started to disembark then nearly another hour to actually get off the ship. All passengers with luggage were able to disembark first.
When, where were your 19 other cruises? I've been on the Panorama twice since Covid and both times the food was as good or better than previous Carnival cruises. The only thing different was less people complaining that the food was not as good as the old days.
