Review summary

Very dissapointed with Carnival Cruises. The cuts in budget made are exaggerated, and hurt service. This ship leaves much to be desired, and they should make up with excellent service. They lack personnel, and most important, they lack experience and finesse

Commendations to waiter and busboy on table 444, vista dinning room

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Very small, not enough shops, not a good promenade, NO GYM, small pool. The worst Carnival Cruise I have been on. They have made numerous cuts that do not encourage patronage

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Cabin eas exceptional for us. Cabin Stewart, Pam was very good

Paid expensive Mexican Party tour. In line in front of the ship, the fumes of the painting of the ship made me ill. I told the cruise guide "Rosi" that I had a health condition and needed to wait in the bus, or a little further from the ship. She said "yeah, yeah, go back in line. We are leaving soon. I was dizzy and had an upset stomach. The bus stopped at the Malecon, and the woman said it would be a Mexican minute, which meant 1/2 an hour. I told the driver I needed a drugstore, and he pointed a few steps away. We were there long enough to drink an alkazeltzer. When we came out, the empty bus was leaving. My husband looked everywhere for the group and "Rosi" We did not find them. We stayed in place waiting for them or the big yellow bus to reappear. It was a narrow one way street and were told by a cop that all vehicles had to come down that way. Up and down the MALECON we walked alert for the group or the bus. After an hour and a half, we took a taxi and went back to the ship losing our tour and our money.
