Review summary

Our travel agent didn’t know the ship at all. Food was pretty bad and flavorless. Even though my mom books a year out we’re we not set in a cabin near her. We were all very disappointed

The room was horrible. We were first put in a room below the disco and heard thumping all night also were we the first room on the bottom floor near the crews quarters. We were then requesting to move and they gave us some trouble but we did move to an inner room

Thank you for your review! I find it very helpful to hear good & bad. We need to be informed so we can make the best choice of our dollars because there are many different ships to choose from.

It is possible you booked guaranteed rate. They do tell you while booking your cabins may not be near each other. That stinks you weren’t near each other, but as has been stated above, that’s on your travel agent not on Carnival. Is it possible you have the incorrect ship? This is not an old ship and you could be describing something else. At least someone cleaned your room everyday and you didn’t have to cook for a week, how can that be horrible, right?

You didn't like the ship quality? It's a BRAND NEW ship. Yes the buffet is smaller than normal but that's because there are SEVERAL free food venus to choose from. Quality of food is definitely not bad. So when you booked with your agent a year in advance, you didn't look at your cabin #s on your paperwork, or on the app or website especially when choosing bed configuration. Come on man... Even if you had an inexperienced agent, you should've seen this stuff and you also would've known by watching some videos of the panorama on youtube. Take some responsibility for yourself.

Ship Tip.... Book your own cruise directly with the cruise line. Your consultant will assist with cabin locations, and give you all the information you need to have a wonderful time. Plus you get more "PERKS".

No matter who is booking you reservation, have the ship deck plans pulled up on a computer so you can control your room. All the Cruises we have been on no food was ever terrible, some better than others but what can you expect in buffet food made for roughly 3000 guests.

How is it you didn’t know where your cabin was located? If it was a travel agent then you shouldn’t hold it against Carnival. Some of your woes rest on your own shoulders. Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations.
