From our experience, I recommend using a different cruise line.
Embarkation
1 out of 5
Terrible, a complete catastrophy.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Good
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Jacuzzi, running track, skin care, sky ride.
Entertainment
2 out of 5
Shows in main theater were dull and repetitive. Cast sounded the same for every performance. Comedy was mostly funny (although on the crude side), piano bar was good. Movies on deck were compromised by obnoxious adults at the outside bar.
Children's Programs
Not interested in it.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Dining room staff was very good.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
Sight obscuring poles throughout the Liquid Lounge (were main theater performances happened) so it was difficult to see the shows. Running track was so busy that it was difficult to exercise without becoming frustrated by people walking/standing/running everywhere (even early in the morning).
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
It was fine. My recommendation would be to have two sinks, two toilets and one shower, rather than two sinks one toilet, one shower and one bathtub (the bathtub was not necessary).
Ship tip
My opinion is the ship holds more people than the crew can manage effectively.
I hv cruised with carnival for years and love the cruise line. Seems that you expected perfection and you also cruised on one of the busy times of year. Spring break of all times. Things hv changed since Covid hit and they are working their way back as employees. If your children didn’t hv fun, pretty sad. It’s a amazing ship. Maybe try a Theme park next time.
You go on a cruise doing Spring break and complain about too many people. Try researching before cruising next time. Also update your profile, no past cruise showing. This will make your reviews a little more believable and in my opinion, it will at least appear to show that you know a little about cruising.
Sorry this cruise didn’t meet your expectations. Spring Break may account for the amount of passengers (loud and on the running track). Hope you find a cruise line that fits your needs.
