Review summary

Overall we had a great time and it was a good reprieve from winter. If we had time we be going again very soon! Cruises are the best way to vacation and truly provide a great way to just relax since everything you need is included with plenty of extras if you just have money you're itching to spend.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Pretty streamlined for the most part. With the new protocols it was better than expected.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
The food was excellent, the only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is that they had a limited selection at the buffet, but that was to be expected because of the economy we're operating in. All in all it was great.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Lots of things to do on the ship from a sports court, poolside movies, pools and hot tubs etc.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
We went to a comedy show every night, they had games and trivia, magician shows; but my favorite was listening to a live string trio band called Say Play.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff are always phenomenal and do a fantastic job making your vacation enjoyable.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
These ships have always been well kept and clean, and to our surprise they exceeded the already great level they kept.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Nothing better or worse than we expected. We basically just use our cabin for sleep. Interior rooms are a great value.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

3 out of 5
Embarked and Disembarked here, nothing more.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
One of my favorite spots on this cruise. Jungle environment with lots of foliage.

Mazatlan, Mexico

3 out of 5
First time here, we walked around old town Mazatlan. There are taxis everywhere and make it easy to get around.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

2 out of 5
We got into Cabo at 0630 and had to be back on the ship by 2pm. Nothing opens until around 10. This is a very built up area around the port and you have to take a ship tender in from the ship. Everywhere you walk you are bombarded with tourist traps. If you have time it is better to get out into the town away from the port.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Seamless without any issues.
