Review summary

Great cruise for the family! So much for our teenagers to do that we barely saw them the whole time. Cabo is absolutely gorgeous and Ensenada was terrible. Food needs to be better but specialty dining is amazing. They should serve that level of food in all main dining and buffets. Cruises are about food and its my only complaint. Make your specialty, your norm.

Great since we had a suite, but took a while for our bags to arrive and we had someone else's bags arrive to our room.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
I really didn't care for main dining after day 1. Late dining is way too late and by the time you get any food it's after 9pm. We had food before drinks and bread. It was really loud in the large dining areas. Buffet food just didn't meet the standard. Please cook the French toast more. Need more options to place in the omelets. I paid for specialty dining every night after the first night. The steak house was absolutely delicious and so was the Italian. JiJi was good but the family style was too much food for 4 of us. We were not prepared for that and felt we wasted a ton of food which is extremely unfortunate. The sushi restaurant was great but everyone's food came out at different times. My sushi roll came before my salad and even drinks, so it sat there until everyone received food. I would just ask that the boat improve cleaning protocols in the food areas. I saw lack of cleanliness in places like main dining and buffets. Lots of hands touching a lot of things.

Onboard Activities

We have a 13 & 15 year old and we used the basketball court nonstop, the teen clubs, arcade, & everything. Disappointment with rules around Skyzone. Our two could not enter together due to age. Our 13 yo is way taller than our 15 yo. Just was a bit surprised and disappointed with that.

Entertainment

Poolside DJ was good but said no hip hop. WOW.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Service was amazing. Braizon in the Italian restaurant was so kind and nice to chat with. Sherwin on the pool deck was the absolute best. He never let us down and was very funny and great at service. Aladin and Z at Alchemy bar made the absolute best drinks. I can't believe I didn't get to this bar until the end of the cruise. I'll be here 1st day next time.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship was absolutely gorgeous and clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

Mona Liza cleaned our cabins and was so sweet. She did a great job with our teenagers cabin.

Ship tip

Book your specialty dinners before you arrive and book a suite.

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

Water was gross.

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

We took a $15 glass bottom boat tour. Best tour I've ever taken. Then we hung on the beach. So much fun!

Ensenada, Mexico

This should not be a stop at all. Leave us in Cabo for 3 days. Don't waste your passengers time.
