Review summary

This was a getaway for myself while the rest of the family stayed at home. I had a blast, had great food, great fun, and great service.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
The line was long. But carnival handled that well. All of the new and changing protocols added to the time it takes.

Ship experiences

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
I enjoyed the adults only area (wish it had a pool as well), the movies on the Lido deck, bingo, the casino, trivia and more. There was plenty to choose from and keep busy.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
You could tell the dining room was short staffed because things took longer than they should have. But that wasn’t due to staff’s lack of ability or service. They were all wonderful. Each section has two people instead of the normal three and you could feel it.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The price for my cabin was a steal. And that’s because it’s the bottom category, 1A and has twin bunk beds. Someone looked at the space and thought “we can squeeze one more here”. I was by myself, so it was just fine.

Ship tip

Remember that the crew is dealing with added and changing protocols as well. And they are t the ones making the rules. Be patient and kind.
