Review summary

Family cruise, this was our 2nd with Carnival, overall great value, but you are getting what your paid for.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Excellent, seamless process with the booked check in times.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Great variety, rooms become very crowded with seating sometimes difficult to find, but plenty of time to eat and enjoy, be prepared to be flexible. Main dining was good, service was sometimes slow and can be left waiting for desserts, but the atmosphere is great.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Gym was good and located at the front of ship with plenty of natural light. Open weights and plenty of cardio. The pools are ok,

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Plenty of variety, some great acts, and plenty going on. The quizzes are very old and out of date. Quizzes were made additionally difficult by staff facilitating them having very poor english making questions hard to understand…

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
The service from staff was excellent

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
This is a small ship and quite old. It is small with limited options to relax and sit outside, but the adult only area is great and we used this extensively. Generally an old ship with examples of minimal maintenance obvious.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Great size, easily slept us with our two teenage boys using the bunks. The Oceanview was great and allowed lots of natural light into the cabin.

Glad you enjoyed your trip. I too seem to always have a dessert delay on carnival. I blame it on showtime.
