Review summary

I enjoyed my cruise and want to go again but the food needs to be improved and offered at all times. The room experience overall was horrible. I never ever got a good nights sleep the entire Cruise.

It was slow initially but then it sped up and was a nice experience.

Food and Dining

The food was not good and I expected much better quality. I also really disliked how the buffets closed so early and how bacon at breakfast was almost impossible to find. The food at dinner was bland and dry and very small portions. The only good part of the food was dining in the steakhouse that I can say was an amazing experience and the food was delicious!!

I played Bingo and the Bingo host Sam was great and funny but I didn’t partake in much else.

Service and Staff

Our room stewardess Jennifer was amazing. She remembered our names immediately and tended to all of our needs. Our waiter Sa in the dining room was very friendly and attentive as well. I really appreciated the staff so so much.

Ship Quality

The ship was very pretty and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

The size of the room was what I expected but I was miserable in my room for the entire stay. The thermostat to control the temperature in our room never worked. We made multiple calls to have it fixed but it never truly was. Our room was either a sauna and we cooked or it was ice cold and it felt like we were sleeping in a freezer. There was no mini bar in our fridge either.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

Catalina Island, California Did not visit port

Rough seas no one could disembark.

Ensenada, Mexico

Did the top 10 best. Our tour guide Gloria was very informative however due to construction we didn’t have enough time to stop everywhere so that was a little disappointing.

Disembarkation

No one to help us and my husband and I are both handicapped. We were both rushed and pushed.
