Review summary

This was a great getaway cruise, I cruised over the Thanksgiving holiday which was a first. It would have been nice if travel agent would have informed us that this is one of the busiest times when children cruise. I would have gone a week earlier or later. We had over 800 children on board.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy and quick

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Main dining room was good as usual, but the buffet could have mexican food.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
older ship, needs an upgrade

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Comedy shows were fantastic

Children's Programs

no children

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Room steward was great, but dining room waiters were not as friendly as my previous cruises.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
For being an older ship it was maintained good

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Never had an Aft before so this was a first, I enjoyed the view but only downfall with an Aft cabin is that you have no overhead awning to block sun or the rain which we had.

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California Did not visit port

no interest in Long Beach

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

5 out of 5
Cabo is fantastic as usual, We did the Camel ride which was great.

Mazatlan, Mexico Did not visit port

Have visited this town before, and in my opinion it is a very dirty town with to much crime, if visiting I would recommend staying at a resort.

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

5 out of 5
Great city lots to do, and many good excursions here.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Was a lot different than what I have had in past, went fairly quickly as far as any debarkation can be.

We have saild on the Miracle twice and its always been great. We travel with kids every trip but we actually take our kids out of school a week before their school breaks so we arent over run by other people kids...lol

We always think about when would be best times for US. When you’re not really steady on your feet you need to think about children running around.
