Alaska is a must do excursions type of cruise. Dont let the cool damp weather get to you. It actually helped us see whales. Not enough time spent at these port. Absolutely must be on a persons bucket list
Embarkation

First time flying to a port. We had no issues once we got to Washington. Carnival employess were standing with signs and leading us where we needed to be. There were no hassles and and just a small wait in line. We were on our way in no time
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
Ive only said with Carnival. 4 cruises 2 different ships. Always enjoy the waitstaff and other workers. Theyve always been accommodating and kind. Food has always been hot and a large variety for everyone to choose from. The Ledo deck is always hard to get a empty table for the buffet. I found that to be the same on the other cruises as well
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
Even though this isnt a monster size ship we always found things to keep us busy. The times we wanted to relax we had plenty of areas to comfortably sit. Enjoyed the karaoke

Cabins were average in size.Nice size for a couple to travel. Beds were a little on the hard side we didnt mind since we took advantage of the activities on ship
Ship tip
This ship is nice when traveling with smaller children. It wasnt over crowded and easy to maneuver around. A average sized ship not overwhelming
Enjoyed the information from the tour guide Tracy Armed Jford was breathtaking. Also did the train ride. Went to the old gold mines. Tour guide was excellent talking about the history of the gold rush years
Enjoyed this port as well. Did the whale watch. It was a misty rain and were worried we wouldnt see anything. To our surprise we saw many whales. The tour guide was very informative and was surprised himself on how many whales were out that day
