Perfect dream cruise of a lifetime. We had a good premonition that this was going to be an awesome cruise. First, it was with our favorite cruise line, Carnival, and 2nd, how can you beat Hawaii! BEST CRUISE EVER!

Quick and easy. I was expecting issues with the port of Long Beach, I have heard of issues before, however once we got to the port, we were onboard within 45 minutes! Super fast and efficient.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
This was the first time for us on a Spirit class ship. WOW! Although a smaller ship, it has a perfect layout, and very easy to get around. The décor was amazing and I was always surprise at every turn. The Carnival Miracle is a beautiful ship and I hope to sail on her again soon. Food was always top notch, all food venues were delicious, service was perfect.

Onboard Activities

Nice balance of many things to do. Even though we had 4 seas days in each direction (Hawaii is a long way from the US mainland) there was always something to do. The cruise director, Lee, was always on it, and made sure all of us were very entertained and taken care of. We even learned how to Hulu dance!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Entertainment was abundant, from variety shows, comics, magic artist and mentalist. Plenty to do and enjoy. Live entertainment and singers throughout the ship all day and night long. Ton of fun!

Children's Programs

No kids

Service and Staff

Perfect. Lots of smiles and friendly greetings. After the first meeting with most, my name remembered. The crew on the Carnival Miracle went out of their way to make this a perfect vacation.

Ship Quality

Ship was ALWAYS being cleaned, clever design and layout. Very creative decorations throughout! Ship was very easy to navigate and learn. As mentioned before, I feel in love with this spirit class ship.

Cabin / Stateroom

Vista Suite on the back Starboard corner. WOW, what a view, and what an awesome sound being on the back of the ship. Room had two separate rooms, living and bedroom. All the space you could possibly need with walk in closet and many drawers to use. Will definitely get this suite again in the future!

Ship tip

Be prepared for some awesome fun! Have an open mind and positive attitude and you will have a blast. Not everything is perfect, but that is mostly beyond the crews control.

What can you say, it's Hawaii! Our first excursion was to go to the top of a mountain! WOW, what a very. Our tour guide (Henry) was very funny, and very knowledgeable about Maui, we learned a lot about the history of the island and its people.

I did not realize how big this city is! Did a city tour and went all over the place, from rolling hills, to beautiful beaches. WOW,

Nawiliwili, Kauai

Beautiful, lush, green everywhere! We went to the huge canyon on this island, not as large as the grand canyon, but impressive still. Another great tour guide with lots of information and history.

Kailua-Kona, Hawaii

Coffee.....did I mention Coffee! The excursion we did on the Big Island was a Kona historical tour with coffee tasting...it was nice to get the many different samples provided. Again, lush green and flower everywhere. Beautiful place.

Hilo, Hawaii

LOVED Hilo. We went to the top of another mountain, but this time the tallest in Hawaii. We visited all the telescopes and saw parts of the island that look like Mars! Rainbow falls was beautiful and worth the stop. Another great tour guide!

Ensenada, Mexico

We went on a beer tasting and Mexican taco tasting excursion on this stop! Great Mexican craft beer, and authentic Mexican tacos......Taco Bell has lied to me for 50 years! grins....had a lot of fun here, Gil, our tour guide was the BEST!

Disembarkation

FAST and easy. Since we had Faster to the Fun and did self assist, we were off the ship in 10 minutes. Went straight to our bus to take us to LAX. This was the easiest time ever to leave the ship (although we did not want to leave....)
