Review summary

We had a really good time on the cruise! It was very relaxing! I have read reviews criticizing the food and I do not understand it. Everything we had was good!

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Fast and easy. We were among the first people on the ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was very good in the dining room and buffet.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Serenity deck was great.

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The shows were very good! Loved the comedy shows! Rob was a super guitar player, singer and entertainer.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
All the staff we encountered were super friendly and helpful!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
We love the ship layout but we were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of the ship. The restrooms were kind of messy and the tables on the Serenity deck needed more attention. There were always plenty of attendants perhaps they just could not keep up with the messy passengers.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our cabin was very nice but noisy. We heard doors slamming constantly. I think it was because we were directly across from a crew door and they were coming and going at all hours. Also the bedding was a bit shabby. Our cabin service was great! Thanks Laura!

Ship tip

If you want to avoid children be sure to use the Serenity deck and pool!

Ports of call

Long Beach (Los Angeles), California

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Did. two days there. We have been there many times before. We had a nice time until a vendor called us a very nasty name for no reason at all as we walked by him! I was shocked by this. We are both 70 years old and did absolutely nothing to deserve this. I think the hostility towards Americans is growing!

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Did not visit port

There was a tropical storm. We went to Ensenada instead.

Disembarkation

Great!

My husband and I have been on the Miracle 5 times and are going again in November. If you nitpick then yeah, you’ll find lots of problems like the ugly decor and the ships shows its age and usage, But the food is always good, the staff is super friendly and accommodating, I’ve never had a bad room steward and my room is always kept clean. I’ve had a great massage, and my husband had a great shave. It’s our tried and true! We can’t wait to sail on the Splendor when it comes in next year, but we will miss the Miracle!

I sailed the Miracle one year ago, and will be back on her in 8 days. I've been on four different Carnival ships and one from another line. We loved them all. The Miracle is my least favorite of the Carnival ships, due to mostly some upkeep issues (rust, etc.). The crew was wonderful, the food was good, although not quite as good as the other Carnival ships, I think. Overall, great trip-otherwise we wouldn't be going again.

We are a party of two who were on the Miracle in 2013 and had aa really enjoyable time. The food, ports of call, the wait crew, everything was lovely. Would do this ship again. 🤗
