Review summary

This my 1st and last carnival cruise. For a "fun" ship, it was totally boring! I have cruised with princess, celebrity and RCC, and they are all better. The food and service were fine, but activities and entertainment was subpar. And it was totally crowded, with hardly any space even just to sit and read.

Holland America would be the cruise line for him! I'm 60, but felt like a kid cuz everyone was so old!!

In all of my Carnival cruises, I've learned there are places to party and also places to Chill out and read. You must not have looked too hard. Now I will say that my cruise last week on the Inspiration, we did agree that activities had been cut way down- there were hours of Time with nothing planned in the fun times.

Sorry you had a bad experience on Carnival. Carnival is a party ship. If you want to read you have to cruise princess, celebrity and RCC. The majority of the guest on those cruise ships sre seniors.

August 20th. I've been on imagination twice. And I have nothing but good things to say about carnival. Fun fun fun! Too bad Miguel didn't utilize the "fun time" efficiently. There is too much to do on the ship!

Some of us Carnival cruisers like to relax at times. I've haven't been on a ship yet that doesn't have areas to go to for quiet and relaxation.

Guess you didn't go into Gatsby Gardens...a beautiful area that has plenty of seating areas and great for reading or just relaxing
