Review summary

Loved the cruise!  I would have given up Cabo, however, for an extra day in Puerta Vallarta!  Beautiful city but the "city tour" we took was really just a "shopping tour"!  Would have liked to see more!  Got an aft facing cabin...don't do it!!  Churning water was noisy and smoke from the stack was irritating.  Overall, the food was great and the entertainment was fun!  I'd go again!

We got an aft view cabin so we could see both sides at one time, but the water churning from the propellers/engines was too noisy for us and the smoke from the stack was right overhead blocking night time star gazing and had soot worries...wiped our chairs before sitting. Next time we'll just walk to the other side of the ship if we want that view!

Ship tip

Liked the smaller size ship compared to others. Made it easier to walk from end to end. Food selection was wonderful and restaurant was better than others we've been on! And always get a balcony (midship is best!) . It is so worth the extra money!!!

We had an aft cabin in 2010. I love the churning water. You are right about the smoke and in our case, the ash, we were always having to clean up.
