Review summary
The single, most memorable aspect of this trip was the phenomenal Alaska scenery. ..breathtaking beauty. Our scheduled visit to Tracy Arm Fjord was altered due to a medical emergency. The alternative visit to Endicott Fjord was very enjoyable. Kudos to the captain who chose to turn the ship around to allow a medical rescue flight rather than stay on schedule.
Balcony cabin was clean and comfortable; could certainly benefit from a mattress upgrade (thin and hard). The balcony was very small. Barely enough space to open the cabin door without having to move a chair.
Love the free time dining! Thanks for making that an option. Food in the main dining room was good...not excellent. ....not Wow. Except for the made to order omelets/eggs, skip the buffet. Worst I have ever seen on a cruise. Same selection everyday and the "hot" food was somewhere between cool and barely warm. Made no difference what time you got there...food was cold. Would NEVER pass a USA health safety inspection. Same problem with food temp off the deck grills. I have cruised on 5 different cruise lines. This one had the least memorable food.
Entertainment...again it was OK....no WOW.
Cruise crew/staff...couldn't have been more gracious.
