My number one advice: get a room away from kids if you are planning to take a relaxing, adult cruise! We had a family in the rooms across the hall from us (we should have asked to be moved after the first night, but we didn't) who were totally obnoxious. The kids were yelling and screaming, and racing in the halls and the parents were just as loud, agging them on in their racing! The kids were banging on our door all hours of the night and that was the worst part of my trip on this cruise. I was afraid to hang the door decoration out for fear they would tear it up. If I ever cruise again, I would definitely not want to be in a room near people like that again.

This was an excellent there was always something to do the people, fun squad, staff and cousin Cookie all treated you like family I would go again and refer carnival magic to a friend.

Expect a great cruise, pack in smaller bags, they are easier to handle then one or more very large ones. There are hotels that have cruise packages, that offer buffet breakfast the day of the cruise, transportation to port, and a place to park your car while you are gone, as well as transportation back to the hotel. If traveling in a group, separate your luggage by traveler to check to see if you have it all when you return from the cruise, as bags do look alike. If you miss a bag, you can contact the transportation carrier and they will give you instructions for UPS and FEDEX to pick up and deliver your bags to you (your cost) if you miss one when they drop you off at the hotel upon your return (check bags, again many bags look alike, you may want to use some way to mark your bags (i.e. colored duck tape on the handle, yard or ribbons on the zippers, some designs on your luggage, etc.)

Skyview rooms are our favorites! Peanut butter with choc. Melting cake is Sooo Gooood! Deck 5 you can walk all around outside ship its perfect exercise!!!

Carry your luggage off at departing from the ship. Had to wait 90 mins for luggage with a express departation.

Dont waste your time going to the dinning hall. The buffet, guys burgers, and the 24 hour pizza is the best place to eat!

There is SO much to do, do not try to do everything. Favorite things on board the ship you want to do and let it alert you. Lines will be long for some food places, take advantage of the free pasta bar at the Italian place and Deck 5 breakfast. Both were very chill, the captain often went to deck 5 breakfast early on. If you’re cool with the buffet food and not the specialty places you’ll be set.
