Review summary

Probably the worst cruise since I started cruising back in 2000. Food was so bad I lost 5 pounds. First time ever. People were rude. Kids were uncontrolled. Many people complained, Carnival did nothing. Employees just seemed like they were just going through the motions. Not many greetings or talking in general. Also, Carnival will report any on board purchases to Customs if not declared, but they're quick to try and get you to buy saying tax and duty free. Enjoyed Bermuda, and the amount of time there.

To much was reused or reheated. Was not good, no flavor. I lost weight, first time ever. So if you need a diet plan, go.

We were upgraded to a spa balcony. Very nice. Plenty of room. Don't expect much use of the spa as it was always crowded unless you were in Port. If I had to pay for the room, I wouldn't.

If you want a cruise without kids go in there in school otherwise deal with it I have been on spring break I have been in the summer and thoroughly enjoyed seeing these kids have a good time.

Here is a top. Only do Carnival in the Fall or May. Fall is to Canada and.mostly older people.. In May Spring Breaks are over and Colleges are heading home Any other time do another cruise company

We just returned from a 9 day cruise on Carnival Magic. We are Platinum and have always used Suites on Carnival and nearly all out of New York. While my opinion with much of your assessment is vastly different I totally agree with you observations of passenger. There were many loud, rude, and disrespectful passengers. Door slammers throughout the cruise, repeat, and otherwise, line-cutters, partiers in the hot tub on deck 5. We could not enjoy a peaceful and quiet balcony until after 9PM or while in port. Even when I called Guest Services it only quieted down for 30 minutes or so. Note these were all adults with the possible exception of door slamming. There were two women next to us who allowed their room and/or balcony door slam over 40 time on morning two. Yes, I started counting after a bunch. All this was reported on the Carnival Survey received and submitted the morning. My review of the cruise is forthcoming.

Time to try another cruiseline that caters to adults like Celebrity or Princess. Also, avoid sailing when kids are out of school.

We enjoyed our Carnival Dream cruise in June but we also saw old shows (Flick, Motown) that we had seen on other ships years ago. A little disappointing.

I hope your next cruise will be more enjoyable for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our May cruise on the Magic but that was out of Port Canaveral when kids were in school and had an itinerary of ports that are most of our favorites. 😎🚢☀️🩴🏝🪸🐠🌺

Cruising is not the same as it was prior to Covid. Try cruising when schools are in session for a better experience.
