Review summary

I feel carnival is a low grade cruise line we had some issues and no one seemed to care they messed up our dinner options and the room Stewart went through our personal items we complained but no one did anything ncl would have been all over that (they would have sent us a bottle of wine or chocolate covered strawberries or even a dinner in a specialty restaurant but carnival did nothing)

King's Wharf, Bermuda

This was my 5th time to Bermuda and very different since covid. No ferries to st George so we took a bus there and not much going on a lot of places closed. Did not go to Hamilton this time. But cruise ship left the port Thursday night around 6 and returned at 8am Friday morning so could not do anything Thursday night in Bermuda a little disappointed this time

My wife and I have been on several Carnival cruises and not once have our room stuart went through our things. I once left my Movado watch out and the stuart left a note letting me know that he put it away for safe keeping and call when I return and he'll bring it to me. So this low standard cruise line you speak of was great to me and it was on the Magic, pre Covid-19 but still we had a great time.

How do you know NCL offers wine, chocolate and free meals when a room STEWARD, “goes through your things”? Is this a complaint you make often to get freebies? Myself nor anyone in my cruise group have ever had anyone go through our things on Carnival, Royal, or NCL. How can you even prove this took place? Seems to me you have found a way to get some freebies, and maybe Carnival called your bluff! In regard to other concerns you shared, cruising is not yet back 100%. I have friends who were recently on Royal and had similar issues with food, slow customer care, etc… but they enjoyed their trip. I have friends who recently cruised NCL to Alaska and similar issues. They do not seem to be cruise line specific at this time.

I worry that the cruise lines will try to make us accept this treatment as the new normal. Things have gone downhill for sure. I know they are short staffed, hoping for improvements. Thanks for sharing.

I’m sorry you had a horrible cruise on the Carnival Magic. We thoroughly enjoyed our Eastern Caribbean cruise in May on the Magic out of Port Canaveral. I hope your next cruise is more enjoyable for you. Thank you for taking the time to share your review. 😎🚢☀️🩴🏝🪸🐠🌺

Thanks for the review. Cruising is not the same as it was prior to Covid. There are lots of complaints on most lines, mainly Carnival in Norwegian.
